It would not be realistic to make your entire meals on the completely healthy side in just one night.
Not only will planning these meals ahead of time save time making decisions when you are busiest, but it will also save you preparation time when you need it most. You will be able to look at your plan for a meal and make your grocery list so you know you will have everything you need during preparation. You will also be able to see which parts of the meal you can make ahead of time. Some appetizers can be made weeks ahead of the day and stored in the freezer so you only need to thaw or reheat them before serving. Other items can be made the day before and in fact some dishes are better after being allowed to marinate overnight.
