I have lived here for a while now and this has been the worst experience ever. It started with being lied to about the pet deposit. I was told that I had to pay a certain price if I got a pet and when I got one several months later I was told I had to pay a much higher price. I think they know once you have the pet in the apartment, they can claim they told you something different. Of course it was verbally and not in writing. You don't think to get it in writing when you move in because you trust them. They had yet to give you a reason not to. Boy did U get screwed! They lie to you to get you to move in and then stick it to you once you sign the lease. I was happy to see the ones who lied to me to get me to sign a lease were fired. Only problem is they replaced it with more incompetent employees. Go figure. They put letters on your door constantly for one stupid thing after another. They are not even competent enough to verify what they are writing a letter about. We have to tell them constantly that they made a mistake. The closet doors have been "repaired" 5 times and still fall off the track on a daily basis. Mold grows in both bathroom and they just cover it up rather than fix the problem. They charge for painting the apartment when you leave but UTAH law says otherwise. The apartment must pay for wear and tear on the apartment yet they pass this on to you when you move out. The management in this place has to be the absolute worse I have ever dealt with. They will laugh in your face when you bring up the problems and the way they treat their tenants. The tenant,s kids go to get popcorn in the field house and they are shooed away and are not welcome. We were told before moving in that the field house and popcorn was available to us when we moved in. They don't want you there because you are impeding on the niceness of the apartment in their eyes. They want the field house to be perfect when their new customers are deciding to rent there or not. When we moved in, we were told the laundry and exercise facility was open 24 hours. This changed after we moved in. They now close early and we have no access to them since we work late. If you are available to use the facilities, you now have to spend another $25 to get an electronic key that we were not told about either. There parking lot was recently "slurried" and we now have black tar on our carpet that will not clean up. Every time we walk outside, you track the tar back in your house. The sprinklers spray across the sidewalks leading to you building and you get you bottom half of your body soaking wet unless you are a fast runner. The sprinklers also spray your clean vehicles on a daily basis with hard water. This causes the chrome and paint to be bombarded on a daily basis. The sun quickly bakes the water spots onto your vehicle. I paid $100 to get my vehicle cleaned because it would not come off. The detailer had to use a wax remover and chrome polish to clean my vehicle. Our assigned parking spot is useless because the people next to us are constantly banging their vehicle door into ours. We complained but it did no good because they still park their doing the same thing. I can go on forever with the problems that we have had at this pathetic excuse for a place to live. The last thing I have to say is beware and don't let the slightly cheaper rent fool you!
