I have only 2 things to warn you if you're thinking of living there: terrible terrible maintenance/pest control and terrifying high charges after you move-out. If you somehow get an issue with roaches or bed bugs, there's a 95% of chance for you to deal with the pests by yourself. Also, if you do not leave your apartment in exactly the same condition as it was when you moved it (and I mean exactly the same condition carpet and walls), there's a 100% of chance for you to be charged $600. This is based on my almost 2 years of experience with the Avalon. I advise that you consider other apartments. If you do decide to stick with the Avalon, well, good luck and make sure that you read EVERY sentence of the lease and make sure to ask questions before you sign you lease.
