we wish we didnt live a parkwood manor apts 8800 parkwood dr belleville mi 48111.and gave this place a try. We finally are free!!! free at last.it is by far one of the worse places we have ever lived.we will not beat around the bush on this place. we lived there for 12 years.every place we looked at was either to expensive or just as ghetto.if not worse. lawrence s tisdale bought it in 2004.Premier mangment company took over.up until they were fired for stealing money from the company, not paying the bills and buying things for themselfs.(50inch lcd tv,couch set.took it with them too.) Lockwood took over Jan 27th 2011 and they aint no better. we had atleast 12 differnt mgr from premier and the best one was fired and didnt even no she was fired.she was cleaning up the place and i guess she was to strick.didnt let any illegal activity to take place with the tenants or the office staff and mainentance workers. Pam predium is the regioanl mgr.she has a attitude.abuses tenants legal rights.living there.you have no peace and quiet.the boom cars are ridiculus.they be in the office and to lazy to get up off they ass to go see who it is.they wont evicxt repeat offenders. ebony simmons is the onsite mgr.her family live in parkwood.they loud as hell.boom cars.driving fast.she sent out a letter.saying how if the parents wont supervise there kids.she will call CPS.never happened.I have friends who are still there.trying to get out, but they section 8.so it aint easy for them to bounce. she hasnst done anything about the boom cars and music either.the police are lazy as hell.they wont enforce the noise ordance laws.all they do is drive around.driving pass the boom cars and people hanging in the parkig lots and sitting on top of the mailboxes and green electrical boxes.the kids breaking glass in the parking lot.mainentance walk over it.to dam lazy to clean it up.the parking lots are nasty.they dont sweep up the dead leaves or any of the debrey from tenants.. the walls are paper thin.you can hear everything.theres no way to have a peaceful night after a days of work.you can smell anything from your neigbors.cooking,cigarettes,pot,..open your cheap window and forget about qiuet.car fumes be all up in the house. The basement floods real bad.I had a cousin who had a basement and the sump pump was working for his whole building.Im not a contractor and even i know 1sump pump for 2 apartments is the law.sewage is a big thing in parkwood.we think the owner should have to pay for everybodys belongins.he knew when he bought it.there are plumbing problems,. but purposely nelglected to fix it.putting in some pips n the ground aint going to do it. some cable and pizza companys wont come out there.its a dump.no matter what he does.he a slumlord.money hungry loser.lockwood hire some of shadiest mainentance men.they all smell.they all crooks.they go in the apt unanounced all the time when your there or not there.eating your food smoking.If you refuse to let them in.they yell.we will be back.ebony doesnt no what she doing.they dont give out notices,give out and not show up,and show up on the wrong day. all the time.forget about being a single women living there.the mainentance dont have picture work ID s. the contractors dont speak english.they walk in like they own the place. constant intrusive harrassment is what you get.i had six neighbors move in and out as soon as there lease was up.they were like dam this place is raw. beaware.ghetto people take over.thats how it is and always be.the tenants wont picket or stand up for there rights.they been getting away with so much stuff.im surprized none of them got shot.give time.we will heaer how a drunk mainentance man (ray)loud mouth (rick-maint.supervisor) be dead some where. They dont answer there phone.they keep there voice mail full.lockwood doenst answer there phone.its all a recording.calling them aint cool.they all stick for each other.forreal thoug.we gald we out.peace!
